Marcus Mariotta Custom Box & Shoes

These custom shoes & accompanying package design created for Marcus Mariotta by Jason Murphy and Nike embrace the natural, island aesthetic and follow that style throughout every component of the completed product.

The “808” that is pristinely etched into the exterior of the box pairs with the Hawaiian Koana Wood to create a classic look that is representative of Mariotta’s Hawaiian heritage and football career of Marcus Mariotta.

The tribal-style pattern curves and bends around the different sections of the shoe to create a look that is both distinct and understated.

These patterns also continue throughout the interior of the wooden packaging, creating two cohesive and dynamic items that can work together as one or independently on their own.
